Sorry we’ve been so… not around lately. Miss K recently got married and graduated with her Bachelors. I’ve just been trying to figure things out with my new job and house searching. My excuse isn’t nearly as good. So here we go!

Dinner for tonight:

I’m currently in the process of making these things, so I’ll get around to posting pictures and family reviews later on. Also, I just started looking into Apple Cider Vinegar and it’s health benefits. 

I’m on my first bottle of ACV water, and I’m really enjoying it. ACV has a TON of benefits! Check out this:

Challenging.

Today someone challenged me to do something that I am in the middle of that I have lost sight of.

I’m going to try and publish a literature review I wrote about eating disorders and advertising - a 16-page essay (including my references and title page) that is the pride and joy of my collegiate career.

I got lazy and it has sat on my laptop waiting for some loving editing. I’ll need to meet with some professors and figure out how the journal publishing world works - but I think I can do this.

Does anyone know anyone that could help me out (I’d appreciate it)?

Healthy day

Yesterday I made a goal - that I will drink more water! I’m going to keep two full water bottles around me all the time and see if that helps my intake.

Breakfast: Raisin bran (all bran, no raisins, unfortunately)

For lunch: Two hot dogs with fruit, veggies, and milk

For dinner: Egg and veggie wrap on a fancy cheese and jalapeno tortilla

Confession.

I’ve been slacking hardcore! 

So I started Jillian Michaels’ 30 day shred to get me back into working out a little bit everyday. 

And I’m bringing my lunch today! Quinoa, grapes, water. No more of this grabbing fast food with my co-workers nonsense. I love them, but no. This has got to stop!

Sporty

So I played 2 hours of softball on Monday night, and it was fantastic! I always forget how much I love summertime and playing sports in the evenings. I made a great catch off of third base, had a few good hits, and two runs! So much fun.
